When faith is corrupted, it is necessary and good that we do as Jesus did and flip some tables. Kristin Hayter is just the woman to do it. On this album, fundamentalist Christian belief is so throughly challenged, that nothing but ash remains by the end. That alone would make this album remarkable. That this album is also one of the most immaculately produced things I've ever heard is simply unfair. A modern classic of the musical underground, and one of my favorite albums of all time.
